welcome to Black Executive Men Private Equity Network
Building a trillion-dollar private equity network for Black men
This is where capital meets brotherhood. You’re not new to private equity. You’ve already made it through the doors. Now, it's time to multiply it—with the right brothers in the room.
Whether you’re a General Partner raising your next fund, a Principal looking to scale your network, or a Vice President navigating the allocator landscape—you don’t just need more capital. You need the kind of alignment that accelerates your trajectory.
Black men in finance often operate in isolation. The relationships are thin. The trust is low. The opportunities are scattered.
BEM Private Equity Network is here to change that.
We bring together Black men at every level of private equity—GPs, LPs, fundraisers, advisors, attorneys, consultants—and turn fragmented connections into a force.
This is not just a network. It’s a high-trust deal ecosystem designed for Black men who move capital with clarity, discipline, and vision.
Capital. support. Influence
Why the BEM Private Equity Network Exists The private equity world runs on access. And for too long, Black men have had everything except the one thing that matters most:
High-trust capital relationships
Strategic introductions at scale
Deal flow that respects our capacity to lead
Despite our performance, Black-led firms currently manage just 0.4% of private equity capital. We're not emerging—we're elite. And our goal is to expand that share to 10% by 2050, through strategic collaboration, institutional excellence, and sustained execution.
That means not just raising capital—but owning firms, closing transactions, driving growth, and rewriting the narrative of what power looks like in PE.
Our members are:
Managing multi-fund platforms with institutional backing
Closing mid- and large-cap acquisitions in competitive markets
Supporting and scaling firms as operating partners, general counsel, or CFOs
Actively deploying capital with clarity, speed, and strategic precision
This is your platform to do it together.

Not Just a Network—An Unstoppable Ecosystem This isn’t about trying harder. It’s about being in the right rooms.
What used to take years of coffee meetings, gatekeeping, and guesswork now happens in one trusted community—engineered to fast-track the journey of elite Black men in private equity.
BEM Private Equity Network was founded by executive coach and psychotherapist Jewel Love and investment strategist Jay Holmes. Together, they identified a critical gap in the private equity ecosystem: Black men had access to capital and talent—but not to each other.
Jewel had spent a decade coaching Black male executives and entrepreneurs, hearing the same story again and again—brothers were doing high-level deals but lacked high-trust community. Jay, having raised and deployed institutional capital, noticed the same trend—Black men were powerful individually but disconnected collectively.
At a private dinner in New York, Jewel and Jay mapped out a new vision: a network built specifically for high-performing Black men in private equity, centered around trust, social calibration, and strategic alignment. They called it the Brotherhood Solution for finance.
Instead of waiting for access, they created a platform where capital, connection, and collaboration are engineered from day one. A network where Black men move capital not in isolation—but in alliance.
That vision became the BEM Private Equity Network. And it works.
And it works.
